By placing an order through our online ordering system, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your order.

District North Kitchen is a restaurant located in Palmerston, Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. We offer online ordering for pickup, delivery, and dine-in via our website at dnkitchen.com.au.

  1. Ordering
  • Orders placed through our online system are subject to availability.
  • Once your order is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation via email or SMS.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or modify an order if an item is unavailable, in which case you will be notified promptly and a full refund issued.
  • Menu items, prices, and availability may change without notice.
  • By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.
  1. Pricing & Payment
  • All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
  • Payment is required in full at the time of ordering.
  • We accept payment via the methods available on our ordering platform (credit/debit card and other listed options).
  • We do not store your full payment card details. All transactions are processed securely by our third-party payment provider.
  • District North Kitchen is not responsible for any fees charged by your bank or card provider.
  1. Pickup Orders
  • Pickup orders will be ready at the time estimated during checkout.
  • Please bring your order confirmation (email or SMS) when collecting.
  • Uncollected orders will not be refunded after 30 minutes of the estimated ready time.
  • We are not responsible for orders left uncollected.
  1. Delivery Orders
  • Delivery is available within our designated delivery zones. Zone availability is shown at checkout.
  • Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on distance, traffic, and demand.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party delivery partners or circumstances outside our control.
  • You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address. Orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer will not be refunded.
  • Someone must be available to receive the delivery. If no one is available, our delivery partner may leave the order in a safe location at their discretion.
  1. Dine-In Orders
  • Dine-in orders placed online are subject to table availability.
  • Please arrive at your reserved or estimated time. Late arrivals may result in your order being delayed or cancelled.
  • Dine-in orders confirmed online are binding. Cancellations must be made at least 30 minutes before your booking time.
  1. Refunds & Cancellations
  • Once an order has been confirmed and preparation has begun, cancellations are generally not accepted.
  • If you receive an incorrect or incomplete order, please contact us within 24 hours at order@dnkitchen.com.au with your order number and details.
  • Refunds or replacements are offered at our discretion and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 3–5 business days.
  • We do not offer refunds for change of mind.
  1. Allergens & Dietary Requirements
  • Our kitchen handles common allergens including gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, sesame, soy, and seafood.
  • While we take care to accommodate dietary requirements noted in your order, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
  • Customers with severe allergies are encouraged to contact us directly before ordering at order@dnkitchen.com.au.
  • District North Kitchen is not liable for allergic reactions arising from undisclosed allergen sensitivities or cross-contamination.
  1. Promotions & Discounts
  • Promotional offers, discount codes, and special deals are subject to their own terms and expiry dates.
  • Only one promotional code may be applied per order unless stated otherwise.
  • Promotions cannot be applied retrospectively to completed orders.
  • We reserve the right to withdraw or modify any promotion at any time without notice.
  1. Intellectual Property
  • All content on our website and ordering platform, including images, logos, menu descriptions, and branding, is the property of District North Kitchen and may not be reproduced without written permission.
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • To the extent permitted by law, District North Kitchen is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our ordering platform or the consumption of our products.
  • Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the order in question.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
  1. Australian Consumer Law

Our products and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality.

  1. Privacy

Your personal information is collected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at dnkitchen.com.au. By placing an order, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in that policy.

  1. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our ordering platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Northern Territory and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Northern Territory.
